I’m David and I established East Saxon Training in March 2020. Using my 30-plus years of management experience, I now offer staff training courses to the healthcare sector, businesses and charities.
Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed training and developing others. This has been an integral part of my professional journey, where I have gained expertise across various roles and industries.
Imagine stepping into the shoes of a contracts manager, project manager, management consultant, project director, operations manager and general manager. My diverse background has exposed me to a multitude of sectors, including the military, police, education, local authority, property and healthcare.
I've had the privilege of serving as a Director on the board of a prestigious NHS general hospital, and taking on the vital role of Hospital Director for a large private hospital. These experiences have provided me with invaluable insights into the inner workings of the healthcare industry and the importance of exceptional workplace training.

I am a great believer in making a positive impact through volunteering. For more than 25 years, I dedicated myself to the Scout Association, as a Scout Leader and local Group Scout Leader. This was an extraordinary adventure that shaped my character, fostered lifelong friendships and ignited a passion for teaching young people.
In recognition of my commitment, I received the prestigious Award for Merit – a symbol of gratitude from an organisation that holds community at its core.
I then embarked on a new chapter as a volunteer trainer with Emmaus, a compassionate charity dedicated to supporting the homeless in Colchester, Essex. Here, I discovered the power of education and its ability to help individuals seeking a second chance in life.
I taught our companions (ex-homeless adults) basic awareness training to equip them with essential skills to enhance their employment opportunities.
East Saxon Training is also a Silver Member of Investor in Wildlife run by the Essex Wildlife Trust. The scheme gets local businesses to support the protection of wildlife and the environment.
