I wish to leave this positive feedback for David.

I was fortunate enough to find myself in a very comprehensive mandatory training session on 25th March 2024 conducted by David Hewitt at the Rivers Hospital.

David covered a number of subjects in a morning session: fire, good customer service, hand hygiene, safeguarding adults, safeguarding children and mandling handling.

He passed his knowledge to the group in such a way that a lot of relatively complex ground was covered in a reasonably short time and I really felt it was explained to me in an enjoyable and engaging way, which therefore had the effect of holding my attention for the entire morning session which David delivered to the group.

This helped me retain a lot more information than I would have have done in previous training courses with past employers, where often a concerted effort needed to be made to avoid attention drifting elsewhere whilst the course was delivered by the facilitator.

I have never really come across anybody with the skill to hold my attention fully and enjoyably for such a long period of time and deliver a consolidated course content in such a way that made it easy for me to retain what was being taught, I appreciate a very informative and productive morning David.

You delivered very high quality training as I discussed with you, so thank you from Peter Herbert RGN [ Bank]

First Aid put into practice.
David came to my job on the 28th November 2023. The First Aid training was very informative and he made it interesting and memorable. On the 21st February 2024 I had to put it to practice. I was at a restaurant when I heard some panicking voices, I turned around and saw an elderly man slumped over the table. No staff knew first aid. I quickly ran over. He had passed out and was not breathing, face was ashy he had a weak pulse and was unresponsive. I got help with getting him on the floor, by that time there was no pulse and he was really cold. I started CPR immediately and within 1 minute he started to regain consciousness and was responding to my questions. I stayed with him until the ambulance arrived. You never know when you might need these skills. Thank you David for providing such important knowledge. Anette

David came into our office this week and taught us "Fire Safety" and "How to Save a Life".
The courses were super relaxed but very informative and our attention was held at all time.
I definitely feel more confident now if I ever had to save a life, not only with the compressions but also using the Defib machine.

Thanks David.

David is as you would expect a very knowledgeable trainer. The best part of using his service is that I had a room of up to 11 people who did not really want to be there (pressganged by an Office Manager, me). Within 5 minutes of starting training they were all engaged and interested. Thank you for making the training relevant and interesting while still making sure everyone left the room with the knowledge required. A true skill.

I have just completed a first aid course with David, and it was truly exceptional. His clear explanations and hands-on approach made the learning experience engaging. I now feel significantly more prepared to handle potential emergencies with confidence. Highly recommend this course for anyone seeking practical first aid skills.

Our company booked two courses with East Saxon Training; First Aid and Fire Marshall training. Both courses were interactive and engaging throughout. The team all walked away feeling confident in both areas of training. The trainer David was clear and informative during the training. We are looking to book further training for other team members in the coming months.

Have done mandatory training for 14 years and been bored each year apart from this one. David is really engaging, full of interesting facts and anecdotes and made this annual ‘chore’ a pleasure. Thank you.

Excellent training workshop on complaints. David was engaging and gave us practical advice which we could take forward for real-life examples at work, including on how to look after ourselves as individuals in the roles we have. I left having learnt new skills and pointers for myself and my team to focus upon and use.

Highly recommend.

"I would highly recommend David's training services. David showed us how to tie our personal values to the customer service we deliver, which will be so good for the organisation. Thanks David!"

David was very knowledgeable.

David was very knowledgeable and most importantly he conducted the session engagingly and I am usually sleepy during classes but never with his class! Brilliant!

Life Saving.

I had a training day with David yesterday here at Centre for Sight, and I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the whole day, he was so thorough, friendly and very informative, learning how to use the AED and how to perform CPR was absolutely brilliant, I now feel I could use this machine should this occasion ever happen to me. Thank you David for being so professional and helpful, and for the really "funny" one liners!! I hope you have a wonderful bank holiday weekend. Kind regards, Lorna

A really good training experience.

A really good training experience - David put us all at ease right from the start. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, and any questions we had were answered patiently as we went along. We were all able to get involved practically which was really beneficial. Really helpful and informative training - would highly recommend.

A great day.

This was a great day, after worrying a little about attending, David put me at ease straight away. It was very informative and interesting. I felt that David explained everything thoroughly and with patience, answering any questions we had and I came away from it with confidence that I would be able to help someone should they need some first aid. Thanks David.
